About The Author

Meet The Albert Ramon

A retired professional who began his career in a clockmaking apprenticeship before being drafted into the army. His experiences in Cyprus and North Africa broadened his worldview. Later, Albert worked as a sewing machine engineer and then as a contract monitoring officer for a local council. Writing came later in life, but it’s a journey that has led him to create his first novel, The Lady in the Park.

Albert’s story is one of perseverance. Despite struggling with dyslexia in his youth, he found joy in working with his hands and developed a rich imagination. Now, as an author, Albert is excited to share his debut novel with the world. The Lady in the Park is a result of years of reflection, storytelling, and a desire to captivate readers with deep, authentic characters.

Chapter 1

Graham, returning from a long day at work, decides to take a jog around the local park. There, he spots a young woman — Amelia — sitting alone on a bench, seemingly in distress.
